Gilardino: We Can Beat Arsenal
They may have a few injuries, but AC Milan striker Alberto Gilardino still reckons the Rossoneri will be too strong for Arsenal
Defending champions AC Milan continue the defence of their title as they come up against Premier League leaders Arsenal in the final 16.
Things aren't going well for the Rossoneri domestically, and they are experiencing somewhat of a goalkeeper crisis, but striker Alberto Gilardino doesn't think any of this will matter over the two legs.
"Our injury list has hurt us but it cannot be an excuse for this match," said the Italian international. "With our squad and our European title, we are ready for this battle and we want to win it again.
"Arsenal are the leaders in the Premier League and they are developing the level of their game. But we are champions and will have extra belief for the matches."
