AC Milan make contact for Bayern Munich's Toni
AC Milan are interested in Bayern Munich centre-forward Luca Toni.
Tuttosport says Milan chiefs are exploring the prospect of bringing Toni back to Italy as they prepare for next season without the injured Ronaldo.
Bayern will be reluctant sellers and Milan insiders accept that any deal will depend on the will of Toni to return to Italy. The striker has admitted that "Milan are more than a simple working hypothesis".
The Rossoneri would have to match the £7 million Bayern paid Fiorentina for Toni last summer, while the centre-forward's £3.75 million-a-year contract would also have to be covered.
