Playing Uefa Cup Not That Bad - Kaká
Brazilian playmaker Kaká doesn't think it would be a disaster if Milan only play in the Uefa Cup.
AC Milan star Kaká gave an interview in which he said that it's highly unlikely he will leave the club and that he wouldn't mind too much playing in the Uefa Cup.
"There's only one chance I will leave Milan, actually two," he said. "The first is that my objectives and those of the club are no longer the same, the second is that they tell me they want to sell me because they need to make a new start. I don't think either of these possibilities are likely."
Some cynics are saying that Kaká won't accept playing in the Uefa Cup and will leave in case Milan don't make it into the Champions League, but the Golden Ball winner disagrees.
"It can happen that we play in the Uefa Cup for once, and if it does happen we will play to win it. And we want to win the Scudetto in any case. It's been too long since we've been competitive in the league."
Asked if he enjoys playing as a striker, he said: "I didn't like it at first, but after a year I got used to playing as a second striker and now I like it. I play in a 30-40 meter radius instead of 70 meters, and it's easier to find the goal. I like it like this."
When it was pointed out to him that the Uefa Cup is the only trophy Milan have never won, he said: "There's good in everything. I hope that they can win it and complete the palmares in 12 or 15 years. Around the time I'll retire."
