Kaka Hails Inzaghi Understanding
Kaka has hailed the understanding he has on the pitch with Milan team-mate Pippo Inzaghi.
The pair have been in simply stunning form in recent games, both getting on the scoresheet in yesterday’s 2-1 derby victory over city rivals Inter.
In total, the duo have hit an incredible 14 goals between them in their last five matches, with Inzaghi hitting nine of these, and Kaka the other five.
“Pippo and I have found the net in the last couple of games and there is a great understanding between us,” said Kaka.
Both Inzaghi and Kaka have struggled with injury this season, but they have found top form just in time for the final run-in.
Yesterday’s win over Inter has allowed Milan to move into fourth place, above Fiorentina who had occupied the final Champions League position.
“Fiorentina lost and we won, that was great. We did our job against Inter,” Kaka stated.
“The Nerazzurri didn't win the Scudetto and we reached fourth spot, now it is all up to us in order to qualify for the Champions League.”
Milan’s final two matches of the season are away at Napoli and at home to Udinese.
