Milan front man to play out the rest of the season
Milan striker Filippo Inzaghi is to delay surgery on his hernia problem until the end of the season.
The 34-year-old has opted to undergo physiotherapy treatment on his injury so he can feature in Milan's crucial Serie A run in.
The Italian giants slipped to sixth in the table after their 2-1 defeat to Atalanta on Sunday, and now trail Fiorentina by four points in the fight for the all-important fourth UEFA Champions League qualification position.
Inzaghi and Kaka were both absent in the disappointing home defeat but are expected to return in time for Milan's must-win clash with Cagliari on Saturday.
