Seedorf Tells Arsenal: It Will Be Different At San Siro
Milan star Clarence Seedorf has told Arsenal that they will be facing a totally different team when the sides meet at San Siro in a fortnight’s time.
Yesterday’s Champions League last 16 first leg tie at the Emirates finished 0-0 in a game that Arsenal perhaps just shaded.
Seedorf says Milan were hampered last night as a number of their players were struggling with injury and fitness problems.
"We didn't have the whole squad at 100 per cent,” said the Dutchamn.
“A lot of our players have problems, me included. Three or four players were badly injured.
"That's not an excuse but just to know we can do something more in the home game.
“We are confident there is going to be another massive result from our part. Now we have to focus on the next games in the league and try to get as fit as possible.”
Seedorf did admit that Milan were slightly fortunate to come away from North London with a goalless draw.
"It's a very good result for us. They most probably deserved something. We were lucky to get away with it," he concluded.
