Kaka hoping to play at Olympics
Kaka said he hopes to represent Brazil at the Olympic Games in Beijing in August.
"I would like to (play) but I will leave it up to the CBF (Brazilian Football Confederation) and Milan to decide," he said.
Kaka is currently injured having hurt his knee in the crucial 1-0 victory at Fiorentina on Sunday.
Coach Carlo Ancelotti has already ruled him out of this weekend's trip to Siena but Kaka said he could miss more than just that one match.
"I hope to come back as quickly as possible but I don't yet know how much time I need to recover.
"Today I feel better, it's sure I won't be fit for Sunday and I don't think so for Wednesday (against Livorno) either. We'll see how I am."
The same knee has given Kaka problems for the last couple of years.
"This knee has given me trouble for some time. We had been managing it quite well but after a while I couldn't train or play well and I knew it was time to take a break," added Kaka.
While he may also miss a third league match against Parma, Kaka is confident he will return in time to face Arsenal in the Champions League on February 20.
